Area Governor / Area Council

The Role of Area Governor is the most important district office and is the contact point between clubs and district.

Please refer to information on the office of Area Governor and conducting Area Council Meetings.

As with clubs, there is a distinguished program for areas. Please see here for information on  Area Governor Training and the Distinguished Area Program.

One of the most important tasks of Area Governors is to support the clubs in their area and to advise and assist them in becoming Distinguished clubs. Please refer to information on the Distinguished Club Program.

Area Governors can enter their reports of Club Visits online. To do so log in to toastmasters.org/members. Follow the link to District Central and click “Submit Area Visit Report.”  Also see information on conducting effective club visits and the PDF version of the Visit Form.
