Area Director

The Role of Area Director is one of the most important district officers because it is the contact point between clubs and district.

Distinguished Area Program

As with clubs, there is a distinguished program for areas. Please see here for information on  Area Director Training and the Distinguished Area Program.

One of the most important tasks of Area Directors is to support the clubs in their area and to advise and assist them in becoming Distinguished clubs. Please refer to information on the Distinguished Club Program.

Club Visits

Area Directors can enter their reports of Club Visits online. To do so log in to toastmasters.org/members. Follow the link to District Central and click “Submit Area Visit Report.”  Also see information on conducting effective club visits and the PDF version of the Visit Form.

Area Contests

The Area Director acts as Chief Judge at Club Contests and Contest Chair at Area Contests. Click here for Contest Resources.
