Nominations for the following District 70 awards (except the Management awards) close on 30th April each year.
District 70 Toastmaster of the Year
Each year District 70 recognises one of its members for their outstanding contribution to Toastmasters International. Any Toastmaster, with the exception of members of the Policy Committee may be nominated. Criteria for selection shall include but not be limited to:
- Active membership in any club in District 70
- Outstanding and continuous service to District 70, including beyond the current year
- Attendance at District functions

Jazzer Smith Award
This is given to a member of District 70, excluding the Policy Committee, who exemplifies in some way, the attributes and characteristics of the late Jazzer Smith. These attributes include courage, overcoming adversity, persistence and perseverance, loyalty to Toastmasters, pride in Toastmasters, friendliness, cheerfulness and support for other members.

20, 30 and 40 Year Membership Awards
Each year at the Annual Conference, District 70 recognises those members who have been a Toastmaster for 20, 30 or 40 years. The nomination should include name and address of member, club name and number and date of joining Toastmasters together with a brief background of member and achievements (CC, AC etc).

District 70 Public Relations Competitions Awards
Entries in the District 70 Public Relations Competition close at the end of April. For full details of the competition please see the Guidelines and Entry form.
District 70 Management Awards These are presented at the Semi-Annual Conference to the Division (Wunderlich Trophy) and Area (Ron Green Trophy) that most contribute to the District achieving its goal of being Distinguished.
