Club contests in Toastmasters are a fantastic way for members to be encouraged to achieve more than they may believe they can.
A club contest should be a fun experience. The aim being to perform at the best level you can and to have fun doing so. Winning is a bonus, not a sole objective.
Toastmasters clubs in District 70 run 4 contests per year. Some combine 2 contests in each round of contests.
The four Contests are:
- The International Speech – where the District winner goes on to compete at the International Convention in the US
- The Evaluation Contest
- The Humorous Speech Contest
- The Table Topics Contest
