How to Join

Joining Toastmasters is as easy as A, B, C.

A – Attend as a Visitor

Visit a local Toastmasters club.

You may wish to visit more than one because each Club will have it’s own personality, or flavour. You can visit multiple clubs, or the same club multiple times before you make your decision to join because visits are free and unlimited.

The number of clubs, locations of clubs and different types of clubs make it easy to find a time and location that works for you. Meetings are held seven days a week, mornings, afternoons and evenings. It’s a good idea to call or email in advance to confirm a group’s meeting time and location.

B – Be Ready

At the meeting, ask the vice president membership (or another executive member) for a membership application. When you are ready to join simply fill in the details.

C – Complete the Application

Give your application and dues to the vice president membership (or another executive member like the Treasurer or President) at the club.

The club officer will send your application and fees to Toastmasters’ World Headquarters. Some Clubs in District 70 go through the more formal process of voting new members in.

Your New Member Kit will arrive in the mail. It really is that easy!
